What the AI does on its own

A research agent runs twice a day, at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC. It reads a set of trusted newsrooms and feeds, removes duplicates, and grades each item for how much it matters to a leader running an AI transformation. The grade runs from 0 to 10. We store the grade and the reasoning behind it. The grade decides ranking and placement. We do not print it on the page.

Before anything counts as new, it goes through a novelty check against everything we have already published. Nothing runs twice. Items that pass become a short recap: the original headline, the first few words, a link to the source, and two signposts, "The big picture" and "Why it matters." These recaps publish automatically. Partner posts from our whitelisted network publish the same way.

What a human approves

Anything that carries a voice or an outside contributor is reviewed by a person before it goes live. The weekly opinion column, the deep dives, and community submissions never publish on their own. A draft lands in an approval queue. An editor reads it, checks it against its sources, and approves it. Nothing with an opinion reaches you without a human deciding it should.

Sources only

Signposts, opinions, and deep dives are written from fetched source text, not from the model's own memory. Opinion pieces reason and take positions. Every fact in them still traces to a source. If two sources disagree, we flag the claim as disputed.
